A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
Escape This! is best played with arrow keys. Jump across tiles and collect springy shoes and a jetpack to traverse the one true path to the exit. Don't get stuck with nowhere to go!
My entry for the GameDev.TV Game Jam 2024. Made with Godot! Sprites are original or heavily modified. Sound FX generated using BFXR. Music by me.
*GenAI was used for initial brainstorming, the initial maze generation algorithm and the sweet, sweet cover art.

Install instructions
On Windows: Extract the files. Open the .exe file. Read the scary message and click on More Info and then Run Anyway. Enjoy!
On Mac: Open the disk image. Drag the app to your Applications folder. Open it. Read the scary message. Open Settings. Go to Privacy & Security. Scroll down until you see "Open Anyway". Click it, enter your password. Say Open again. Hope that the game was worth all that.
